Area of production
Nearby Montemerano (330 metres above sea level) close to Terme di Saturnia, at the meeting point between the areas of the denomination of origin of Morellino di Scansano and Bianco di Pitigliano, both Maremma wines.

Grapes and fermentation
After the harvest, the best grapes are hanged on proper looms in perfectly airy rooms where raisining takes place; then the grapes are crushed and the fermentation begins. When the fermentation is completed the wine is transferred to the bottle cellar for ageing for at least 5 years.

OLOUR: amber golden yellow.

ROMA: full and deep with ripe fruit, caramel and dried figs hints.

ASTE: slightly sweet with ripe fruit hints of good profile and aromatic length.

Gastronomic combinations
"Vino da meditazione", serve with desserts and dry piquant cheese.
